Description:
Paul Miller will be speaking. He is the director of SeeJesus and author of Love Walked Among Us, A Praying Life and the Person of Jesus study.
Many of us are quietly defeated in our private prayer lives. We’ve tried praying, but it just doesn’t seem to work—so we feel a combination of frustration and guilt. In this seminar we will learn how to begin a private life of prayer in fellowship with our heavenly Father. This seminar is not for victorious Christians, but for those who often find themselves defeated in the trenches.
Some of the key elements of prayer that will be covered in this seminar are:
- Talking like a child with your Father in heaven
- Prayer as relationship
- Prayer as tension
- Prayer as conversation
- Problems in prayer
Lunch:
Bring a bag lunch or order a box lunch provided by Paneara. Lunches can be order before March 5th with online registration. They cost $11.50 and include a sandwich, chips, a pickle, and a cookie. Sandwich choices are: Asiago Roast Beef, Bacon Turkey Bravo, Mediterranean Veggie, Smoked Ham & Swiss, or Tuna Salad.
