2019 February Service Trip
From February 17th through 20th, CRC sent over 30 people on a service trip to the NETS (New England Training and Sending) Center in Williston, Vermont. Our team was a good mix of youth and adults. Together we accomplished a number of projects including replacing ceiling tiles, mudding and sanding, and painting the lower level of NETS Academic Building and the Christ Memorial Church gym.
In the evenings, Doug Cooper, Don Willeman, and Abrm McQuarters gave messages from Colossians 3 focusing on what it means to be "In Christ."
Apart from the work and evening messages, there was plenty of time to play as well. We began the trip with an evening exploring Church Street in Burlington. The youth and adults played a “youth vs. wisdom” basketball game, with wisdom winning the day (as usual). There were also multiple - very competitive - rounds of the name game and salad bowl that throughout the week.
See below for some photos of our work and fun!
